Based out of Scottsdale Arizona, and being a Scottsdale destination wedding photographer, I never imagined that I would have the chance to photograph at a castle. Fairytales do come true!! When Nicole contacted me and asked me with only two and a half weeks notice, to fly to England and photograph her and Nic’s wedding at Swinton Park Castle… my heart stopped!!! I can’t believe I not only get the honor of photographing so many amazing weddings, but to get to stay with them in the castle was a dream.
Nic and Nicole met after Nicole graduated from dental school and began working at Nic’s office. The two got engaged in England and decided only weeks before the wedding to get married there. They shared the story with me about the significance of the number 64 to them. Nic’s mom, was from an England and lived in a house with the number 64. Sadly, she is no longer with us on earth (but I truly believe she was the reason we had sun in the rainy England for the wedding day). When Nic and Nicole got engaged it was 64 degrees outside, and it was 64 degrees on the day of his mom’s funeral. The two knew that June 4th, 6/4, would be the day they wanted to get married! And guess what… it was 64 degrees on their wedding day!!
The Wedding was absolutely beautiful!!! It was an intimate gathering with their closest friends and family, Nic’s daughters, Halle, Maddi and Ashly, and their son Beckam. The Angels Events did a phenomenal job putting together the wedding and the design. Nicole looked stunning in her dress, and Nic made quite the dapper groom! Everything was perfect!
Thank you again Nicole and Nic for trusting me to be your photographer for your special day. And for the warm welcome into your family! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!!! <3
