Kelsey + Justin | Arizona Desert Wedding
From the Bride
” Justin and I met in Spokane WA where we both enrolled in an internship program at our church, Victory Faith. For the next several years we became good friends and really enjoyed each other’s company. In 2013 we decided to start a more intentional relationship that ended up ending after just a few short months. We had a few things to smooth out after that but then we eventually became friends again. About three years later we decided to try it again, and began dating. We both had done some growing up and realized we really enjoyed being together. We dated for just over a year and decided to get married. Justin took me on a hike to Deep Canyon Creek, just outside of town, where we had hiked almost a year prior. It had been the first place we had held hands and when he knew he wanted to marry me. We headed down the canyon when we stopped and sat on a rock to “have a snack”. He pulled out of his bag a ring box and popped the question. I of course said yes and then that was the first time we kissed. Purity was always something that was/is very important to us, so we wanted to save our first kiss for a special moment. We decided to have a short engagement with a small and simple wedding. Less than 4 months later we were married in my parents backyard in Cave Creek, Arizona with just our immediate families, grandparents, and our pastors.”
