A few years ago I attended my very first Showit United Conference in Scottsdale Arizona. At that conference I had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman Chris! Over the years, he and I became friends. So you could imagine the excitement when after the United conference in 2017, Chris told me he was dating a girl he had met there! I had the pleasure of meeting Micaela at a shoot/workshop I had organized and absolutely adored her! Even better… they got engaged and tied the knot in a Florida wedding just a couple days before the conference this year!

When Showit reached out to me and asked if I would lead a styled shoot/workshop this year, my mind went right to Chris and Micaela, and thus “a United Love Story” was born. This inspiration shoot turned into so much more! It became a chance for Chris and Micaela to document their marriage by having portraits done in their actual wedding attire, in the exact place and at the same conference they had met at a year prior! Even better, they got to be photographed by nearly 30 photographers!

It was such a privilege to share in this special time in their lives and to host a shoot for so many photographers. So thankful for everyone involved for helping bring my vision to a reality.
