The inspiration for this Wispy Bones Fine Art Halloween Dallas Bridal Session stemmed from creating a Halloween series for a blog that had a deep rooted bridal theme. Halloween has always been a day to dress up, play a part and step out of reality. But for creatives, it is a place to explore new ways to inspire brides of today!
The goal was to create a fine art scene that was both moody and elegant, yet whimsical and romantic . The distressed brick and floors of the Brake & Clutch Warehouse set the mood for the shoot as the light from the skylights flickered in and out that afternoon.
White O’Hara garden roses, black scabiosa, purple acacia, baby eucalyptus, cream majolika spray roses, anenomes, quicksand roses and smilax vine brought an earthiness to the warehouse . The florals were created to feel organic and overgrown as if they grew naturally on the arbor and table.
The color scheme consisted of sage, black, grey, gold and touches of purple that contrasted beautifully against the distressed brick. Elegance and sophistication was all in the details of the farm table from the gold stemware, antique goblets, and the calligraphy place cards.
