When you’re down and the world seems dark and empty, your forever friend lifts you up in spirit and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full. Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times and the confused times. If you turn and walk away, your forever friend follows. If you lose your way, your forever friend guides you and cheers you on. Your forever friend hold your hand and tells you that everything is going to be okay. And if you find such a friend, you feel happy and complete because you need not worry. You have a forever friend, and forever has no end.”

Over 16 years ago, God blessed me with a forever friend. Through thick and thin, Katie has been my friend, family, supporter, encourager, shoulder to cry on, voice of reason. She is one of the most selfless people I have ever known. No matter what happened in her life, Katie demonstrated how to live life happily, and did it with such grace. This world is a more beautiful place because of her. My life and many others would not be whole without her.

When Katie met Shane, many of us knew that Katie had met “the one,” the man of her dreams. For myself, friends and both Katie and Shane’s families, it was easy to bless this wedding. It was finally time for us to share in a day all about Katie, and her prince Shane. Katie and Shane share a once in a lifetime love. And on October 24, 2015 surrounded by their friends and families, on the beautiful beaches of Mexico, they made the commitment to love one another forever. It was such an honor to photograph and share in their special day!
